Sorry

Okay, I haven't blogged for awhile, and I'm so very sorry!
On Saturday I had a Board Games Bonanza at my place. It was heaps of fun! Some people got the time wrong (Michael), and told other people (Josh) the wrong time, and some people just got there late (Elyse and Co.). But all in all, it was really fun. The people that got there first started a game of Pictionary, and then when everybody else turned up, the rest of us played Scattegories. Although, Elyse and Sam (her boyfriend), played battleships, and were very unsociable :P
Ashlea won Scattergories, but I don't know who won Pictionary. (If anyone know, can you tell me?)
On Sunday afternoon, my family went to Ikea, and I got to drive there and back!! However, I'd been up until 2 am Sunday morning (Rach slept over) so, let's just say, my driving wasn't the best it's been :D
On Monday morning, Dad came in when I'd just woken up, and said that if I got ready quickly, I could have a drive before I had to be at the school for work experience (in future, if I say work, I mean work experience). So, we left at 7:40, and I got a half hour drive. Dad said it was a lot better than Sundays drive :P
I'm up to 34.5 hours (?). But Dad said that I won't necessarily be able to go for my test when I hit 50 hours, though. He said that he wants to be confident that I'll be able to recognize hazards when I drive on my own.
But I'm getting there!

This Week

This week has been very busy. On Monday and Tuesday morning I did work experience at Craigmore Christian School, on Wednesday I went out to lunch with my Aunty Di and my Mum and I also had a tour of the office admin area of Tea Tree Gully TAFE, on Thursday I had sewing lessons at Spotlight [they'll be stopping at the end of June :( ], and on Friday I babysat for Monique Randall!
I love babysitting 'Nique. She's a bundle of fun :D
This week she was a little more restless, but she is such a character, and I'm SO, SO glad that Nathan and Chloe (her parents) asked me to babysit her on Fridays!

This week I've discovered that I'm a freak (wait, I already knew that :) ). So far this week I have enjoyed filing! Nearly everybody I know dislikes filing :P I don't know why I like it, but maybe it's because I have an orderly mind (stop laughing :P)
Anyway, at any rate, I'm a freak!!!!!! Woo-Hoo! :D

Oops!

Oops! I forgot to post about another piece of big news!

Drumroll please!!!!!!!

I'm the new keyboardist for our youth band! Basically that means that I have to learn a whole bunch of chords, and I have to know when to play them in the song. I'm scared/excited/freakin' out! Steph dobbed me in for it because she's heard me play piano. Thank goodness she didn't dob me in/make me do the piano! 'Coz I would've killed her :P

Anyway, I'm sorta excited because it's a new challenge, but I'm sorta freaking out because I've never done anything like this before. I mean, I'm going to be playing in front of a whole bunch of people, and they'll be singing, and I'll have to keep up!
I am excited though. And with God's help, I'm sure I can do it.

Sorry.......

I am really sorry about the lack of updates and photos on here. I've been waiting until I can post a photo of Caleb, but when I tried last night, the computer told me that My Documents wasn't working. Grrrr....
So, I am working on getting a photo of Caleb. You'll just have to wait a little longer.

In other news, I have work experience at Craigmore Christian School! It's on Monday and Tuesday mornings for the rest of this term. Today was my first day, and I really enjoyed it! I'm doing office admin, and if they need me, possibly monitoring in the classes. I absolutely loved the office side of it today. I don't know why, but I like filing and stuff like that :) (Well, most of the time)
Anyway, we'll see if I continue to love my work experience :)

I'm an Aunty! Again!

Caleb Stephen was born last night at 6:30 pm, weighing 7lb. 9 oz (3.464 kg.) He was 51 cm long, and was born via c-section. I get to go see him this afternoon, and I'm so excited!!!!!!
I finally have a nephew that I can see all the time instead of every couple of years!
I'll update with a photo once I have one.
