Work Experience

For the past 7 or 8 weeks I've been doing work experience at Craigmore Christian School. It's nearly over, and I'm so sad. I have 3 days left :(
I've really enjoyed my time at the school. I love seeing my friends even though I can't really talk to them for long, I love being a help, I love smiling and thinking that a smile might just cheer someone else's day up, and I love the work. I really don't mind filing (it gives me a chance to go off into la-la land :P), and I enjoy photocopying things, I like filling out enrolment information, I like folding letters etc., I like stuffing envelopes, I like answering the phone, and I like addressing envelopes (and I'm sure I've forgotten quite a few things that I've done!).
I've loved it, and I'm really glad I was able to help. Also, I'm really thankful to the school for giving me the opportunity, and I'm really glad that I learnt a lot of new things.

I have a problem!

I have a slight problem. Actually, it's more of an addiction.
See, I like to take photos. On my camera, on my phone, on other people's camera, on other people's phone etc. Only, they're not just any type of photo. However, instead of telling you, I'll show you.
Yep, you got it right! I have an obsession addiction with taking photos of myself!

Those are some of the nicer photos...
Now, I want you to take a deep breath and prepare yourself. See, lately I've sorta gotten addicted to another type of photo. Let me show you:I know, I know. I'm absolutely, certifiably nuts!!! But it's so much fun!
Now you know my deepest, darkest secret. I hope you won't leave me.
And please stop crying. I know it's scary, but I promise I won't show you one of those faces when I say hi to you :P

This is Me

You Are a Plain Ole Cup of Joe

But don't think plain - instead think, uncomplicated

You're a low maintenance kind of girl... who can hang with the guys

Down to earth, easy going, and fun! Yup, that's you: the friend everyone invites.

And you're dependable too. Both for a laugh and a sympathetic ear.

Babies

Babies and I are like.....

Bread and butter

or

Honey and lemon (been drinking a fair bit of this lately :P)

Anyway, basically, I LOVE babies! I love kids too, but I got the chance to hold my oh-so-handsome nephew tonight (Caleb), so I'm gushing about babies :D

Mike, Mel, and Caleb came over this afternoon, and I got to hold Caleb heaps! I love it when babies sleep. Especially when they sleep peacefully. Believe it or not, there are times when babies toss and turn, and make all sorts of faces when they're sleeping (get it now Michael?)
While I don't have a problem with this, I love it when they're still, and have a bit of a smile on their faces. I can totally understand why Jesus said "Suffer the little children to come unto me". I mean, who wouldn't want to be surrounded by a bunch of little kids? (as long as they're not trying to rip your hair out :P)

Here I am!!!

Okay, well I didn't manage to get to it yesterday, but I'm here now!
This week has been... okay.
Dad went to Canberra for work on Tuesday, and Mum left Tuesday to go stay with Kristy. She took Lisa with her, and I'm so thankful! I love Lisa, but I think I would go out of my mind if I had to try and help her with school, do work experience, babysit 'Nique, and look after the house. For the record, I'm still learning the whole "multi-tasking thing" :) Hey, what can I say?! I'm only 16! LOL
I did work experience on Tuesday, and I really enjoyed it. I was in the back office for awhile entering info into the computer which was ok, but I really enjoy being out in the front office. I am most definitely a people-person!
Tuesday night Steph came for tea, took me to music practice and home again, and then slept over. It was really fun! We haven't been able to whinge to each other for awhile :P
On Wednesday, Mrs. Packer, Daniel, and Brenton came over, and brought Joe home (he'd slept over their house on Monday night, and Tuesday night), and stayed and did school while Elyse was at Craigmore School for her work experience.
Thursday, Joe and I went to the Packer's for a homeschooling day, and I slept! I didn't sleep very well on Tuesday night (no, it wasn't Steph's fault), so I've been very tired.
Today (Friday), I slept in (yeehaa!!!), and did stuff around the house, and then Joanne came over, and I went shopping with her. I got to hold Moses heaps!!!!
So, that's this week so far. And yes, I realize it's a little disjointed :P
I need to work on blogging more frequently :D

Sorry (again)

I'm really sorry that I haven't posted for awhile. I'm not really in the mood to post at the moment, there's some stuff I need to think through. I WILL post tomorrow though! Prayerfully, I'll have time!

My Week (and a shattered memory)

Well, apart from yesterday, I can't remember a blessed thing about this week. Okay, that's a lie. I do remember certain things if I think long and hard enough. I remember that I worked on Monday and Tuesday morning. I remember that I went to Gawler on Wednesday, and then went to Recharge that night. I remember that I went to Clonlea Thursday afternoon, and to Tim's basketball Thursday night. I remember that I babysat Monique on Friday, and that she got upset when her mum left. I remember that Nathan (her dad) wasn't well, so he ended up coming home early, so I came home early. Wow! I do remember a fair bit about this week. Then again, there's stuff that I'm not sure if it happened this week, or last week :)
Yesterday was the first week in a series of a 4-week leadership program that is being held at our church (for the first 3 weeks, and at ACM for the 4th). I really enjoyed it! I could go on and on about it, but I'll just say that I found out that my temperament is phlegmatic-sanguine. I've been wanting to find out what temperament I have for quite awhile, so I was stoked when Henry talked about that.
I have more that I could talk about, but I don't know that I could make enough sense of it that you would understand, so I'll leave it for now :)
